I am Matt's mum and Grant`s wife I look after them at race meetings you can normally find me making tea or cooking food. If the lads need any parts for their cars then I am the one who will usually find someone who can help us out, if there is not a shop at the meeting.
I enjoy going to race meetings and have met some really nice people, now we have two a dogs called Bruno and Buster both Staffordshire bull terrier so I have lots to do at the meetings.
At the 2006 B.R.C.A. A.G.M . I was voted onto the 1 1/0th IC committee and I was also voted on to the executive committee as the Child Protection Officer

Hi my name is Grant I have been in model car racing for 20 years with a short break in between I started with nitro buggies (rally cross) racing at Rossendale, I then started to dabble in 1/10th nitro cars with my son Matt I have had to re-learn a lot as the engines have improved a great deal over the years.
We started going to a club called Ashby Woulds to race the nitro H.P.I RS4-3 with stock engine, these are great cars for a starting point for beginners. Because Matt improved a great deal after winning numerous trophies we brought a Serpent 710, this car is excellent so much so we brought a Serpent 720. You can always find me in the pit lane at a nitro meetings refuelling or waiting for the race to finish, if you ever need any help all you have to do is look for the Team Williams logo`s on our shirts, and we will do our best to help you so see you at the race track.

Hi my name is Matt I am 22 yrs old I have two Serpent 720 cars, I have been racing my nitro car for 5 yrs now, I have done a lot of my racing at Ashby where I have taken part in the 2002/3 winter series, 2003 summer series, 2003/4 winter series and 2004 summer series I have won a lot of trophies at these events. In the first winter series I finished 16th out of 40, In the first summer series I finished 6th out of 24. At the 2004 summer series I finished 5th overall. And also over the last few years I have completed a number of the National Foam and Rubber/Truck Series events and won many trophies.
I have recently brought the new Serpent 733 this is the New 2010 car from Serpent, it looks and handles very nice, only time will tell how it performs.
