Rd 7 BRCA Foam National at Wrexham Club 2007
Wrexham Club was the venue for the round 7 of the Foam National the first time a foam national has been held  there, the track was giving some drivers a few problem first thing Saturday morning with the tight and twisty infield and the back straight into Kellogg's banked bend were a few cars came off and over the fence.
By lunch time most of the driver were getting to grips with this new circuit Darren Johnson, Steve Brown, Chris Slater,Kyle Branson, Robin Hammett and little Alex Thurston just to name a few were well into the grove.
Sunday morning drivers briefing and a minutes silence for ex euro champ Gavin Reast as a mark of respect. With the threat of rain later in the day everyone wanted to get a good first qualifier and

The D Final was the only finale to be dry which saw Richard Boult take 1st then the rain started from that moment it got wetter and wetter C Finale went to Neil Wallace in first place in the 235 B Finale Matt Chambers in first place with Daniel Crossland in 2nd place The 200mm B Finale Robin Hammett 2nd on the grid got off to a good start and lead all the way from the front and with the help of his pitman Robin finished in first place Daniel Williams fought hard from seventh position to finish 2nd and Jonathan Dobney in 3rd place.
235 A Finale Glyn Beal (European Champion) never put a wheel wrong lead all the way with 8 laps ahead of 2nd place Jon Withington and Uncle Bob (Bob Harley) was in 3rd place.
Ben Cosgrove was pole position for the A Finale with the rain getting heavier this was going to test all the drivers by the third lap Darren Johnson was all over the back of Bens car, by lap 11 Steve Hayes was the first retirement and Darren was now in first place Ben seemed to have problems when he came into the pits to change tyres there was no foam left on his rims a lot of time lost Ben would now have little chance of getting back to 1st place.
Peter Watt dropped out with mechanical problems on lap 41 Mark Gilliland had tyre problems and a mistake on lap 49 which put him out of the race Adam Walker Catchpole had a servo problem (water)which put him out Steve Brown was out on lap 79 Ben Cosgrove retired on lap 83, Kyle Branson came home in 3rd Chris Slater in 2nd and Darren Johnson 1st place.
